About Hisham Serry, Founder & Lead Analyst
Technology is just a tool. For it to be truly transformative, it must be wielded by someone who understands the job that needs to be done. In the world of supply chain and manufacturing, that job happens on the factory floor, in the warehouse, and across global logistics networks—not just in a boardroom.
My name is Hisham Serry. For more than 17 years, I have lived that job on the front lines—building and optimizing complex supply chain and manufacturing systems from the ground up. This experience forged my core philosophy: Process First, Technology Second. True operational excellence comes from the intersection of deep process knowledge and practical technology implementation.

This isn't just theory. As a Plant Manager and later a Supply Chain Director, I didn't just analyze systems; I rebuilt them. A prime example is a full-scale digital transformation I led to replace a manual, paper-based supply chain. We implemented a comprehensive suite of tools including ERP (Sage X3), Power BI, and custom AI assistants using OpenAI GPTs. The results were not marginal; we reduced human errors by 95%, cut processing time by 75%, and enabled 100% cloud-based operations with real-time visibility.
This is the hands-on experience that drives every piece of content on this website.
My Role at Best Ops Chain AI
At Best Ops Chain AI, my primary role is to serve as the final, strategic filter for all our content. I founded this platform to be the resource I wished I had when I was making critical technology decisions.
While our analysis begins with a team of dedicated specialists—our experts at BOCA—who rigorously evaluate tools against our 10-Point Assessment Framework, the process doesn't end there. I personally synthesize all findings, leveraging my 17+ years of experience to ensure every review is not only technically accurate but, more importantly, strategically relevant to a business leader.
Nothing gets published unless it answers the critical questions you should be asking: Will this solve my real-world operational problem? Will it deliver measurable results for my business? Can it be integrated effectively into my existing ecosystem?
